We have decided to make a Wiki on this particular topic as it has been going on for many generations, and most of the news we hear about is the Israeli children dying and how horrible the Palestinians are. Therefore we wanted to inform the people that the Palestinian situation may be much worse than the Israeli situation. Many people across the world do not realize how much suffering Palestinians have to go through every day, for the most basic necessities. We wish that people could get more involved in the situation and try to solve this dilemma instead of giving it a blind eye. This relates to peace day as I am trying to create awareness, and if more people are informed about what is happening. The conflict shall hopefully be solved.

• 124 Palestinian children were killed in 2006, more than twice the number killed the previous year. "From January–July 2007, 31 children were killed. Almost all child deaths in Palestine are caused by live ammunition shots to the head or chest, generally indicative of the Israeli "shoot to kill" policy.
• On July 4th 2007 Israeli troops shot and killed a 15-year-old Palestinian boy in Hebron. "Ahmad Abed Al-Muhsin Skafi" was shot 4 times in his upper torso. Israeli troops then allowed a military dog to maul the boy’s dead body, tearing his intestines from his stomach and mutilating his right hand. This is just one of many cases I would like to share with you.* 20,000 Palestinian children have been injured since September 2000. Almost 1,500 of them now have permanent disabilities.
• Seven hundred Palestinian children were arrested by the Israeli military during 2006.
• There are now approximately 426 Palestinian children being held in Israeli detention. They regularly receive lengthy terms of imprisonment for minor offenses such as stone throwing.

It is obvious from the charts and the picture above that the Palestinian people are truly suffering. We ask you as fellow humans, Please help raise awareness
